Mr Vimalraj started pursuing his Ph.D, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Shiv Nadar University from August 2022. Prior to this, he worked as an Instructor (Mechanical) in Sha - Shib Aviation Academy, Kerala, wherein he established an "Aerodynamics Laboratory" and was teaching different modules of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Prior to his tenure at Sha - Shib Aviation Academy, he was working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, wherein he guided student projects on Development of Duct Augmented Wind Turbine, Eccentric Effects on Co Flow Jets, Jet Decay and Spread Characteristics of Non Circular Supersonic Jets and Passive Control of Subsonic Jets.
Mr Vimalraj received his Masters in Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institue of Technology, Chennai in 2015 and Bachelor of Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai in 2013.
